School Clothing

All students are expected to wear uniform and the Sixth Form has a dress code. Students are expected to take a pride in their appearance and look smart for work.

Boys Uniform
Blazer	Navy blue with badge in college colours
Trousers	Black tailored
Shirt	Plain white with optional short sleeve
Tie	Academy tie
Pullover (opt.)	Navy, v-necked with badge (optional) embroidered on pocket area
Socks	Grey or black
Shoes	Smart black

Girls Uniform
Blazer	Navy blue with badge in college colours
Trousers	Black tailored
Skirt	Stitched down black box pleat, minimum length 20"
Blouse	Plain white with Academy badge embroidered on pocket. White short sleeve, revere collar, no tie, worn over skirt with academy badge. Sew on badges are available with instructions for location on request from the Academy.
Pullover (opt.)	Navy, v-necked with badge (optional) embroidered on pocket area
Socks	Black or white
Tights	Black or neutral
Shoes	Smart black, low heeled (no boots)

• No non-school uniform garments to be worn under blazers.
• No baseball caps or other hats may be worn on the Academy premises.
• No trainers are allowed to be worn in the Academy except during P.E.
• No makeup may be worn.
• No denim is acceptable in the Academy.
• No jewellery apart from one pair of studs and a wristwatch may be worn.

Non-uniform items including jewellery may be confiscated, and these can be collected from the Academy office at the end of the day. Students bring such items entirely at their own risk and the Academy accepts no responsibility should they be damaged, lost or stolen. Students whose appearance is not correct for the Academy may be sent home and asked to change.
