The school encourages self-esteem and self-discipline. Attendance and punctuality are encouraged with rewards and in the case of lateness detentions are imposed.

Most children respond to encouragement. Where students fail to exercise self-discipline in their conduct in or around school, we impose sanctions. Parents are involved whenever we are concerned about a student - and this in itself is an important sanction. Others include detentions at break, lunchtime, or after school, and the use of report books monitoring daily progress. In certain circumstances, a student may be excluded from school.
