  computer for easy reading.

Some users find screen text easier to read by increasing its size and contrast.

Windows: Go to the Start Menu, then 'Control Panels', then 'Accessibility Options'

Apple Mac: Go to the Apple menu and click 'System Preferences', then 'Universal Access'. Here you can configure the display as well as have the Mac attempt to voice over the web pages.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

To do this in Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to the 'View' menu, select 'Text Size' and then select 'Larger' or 'Largest'.

Explorer provides other ways you can fine-tune how the Axton Chase School web pages are displayed.

You can remove the background colours and choose which colours to have text, links and visited links by using the options in the 'Accessibility' menu.

For example, to switch off background colours:

• Go to the 'Tools' menu at the top of the page

• Selec 'Internet Options...' from the menu

• Click the 'Accessibility...' button

• Tick the box 'Ignore colors specified on Web pages'.
